The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.

Throughout our days, we think of our ‘problems’, what we ‘lack’ and focus on them. Also, all we hear from people around us are their ‘problems’ and things they don’t want in their lives. The majority of them don’t even realize the grave consequences of this thinking.

What prevents us from counting our blessings? What IS a blessing? I believe a blessing is everything that makes us feeeeeeel good in life. It could be the air we breath, the yummiest dessert u’ve ever had (nutella! :p) or simply the smile on your face when u head to lala land :p
Thinking of our blessings make us feeeeel joyous. Who doesn’t want to be in joy?

Always start with tiny blessings, things that make u smile when u think of them, feeeeel the gratitude of having this amazing thing/feeling. Love it for what it has given u n then gradually widen the circle of those blessings πŸ˜€ u have nothing to lose but ur unhappiness.

Besides, feeling blessed is always higher up on the ‘feel good’ scale than moaning n whining :p count as many as u can. A little something to maybe start or end ur day with! Try it and watch ur life turn around!

Stay Blessed,

  1. “And if you would count Allah’s favors, you will not be able to number them; most surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”

Very inspiring… A lot of people (religious) add to the list of blessings these bad things that happen to us, like getting sick etc.
